Pilot for a TV series for Nickelodeon.

I created and directed this shortfilm in 2000 while working at ILM. The film has won many awards in festivals and I thought it might be nice to share it with all of you.

This was my first shortfilm. It took me about 2 years to complete. It is 7 minutes long. The backgrounds are actually overlays. All animation takes place in the cut-out window and is drawn on paper. I used fine water-resistant pens to animate and then colored them with markers. I left the rough-animation as my final drawing. That's how I got this lively line. Enjoy

"Fred the Caveman". Episode from my first TV series. The series was produced with Teletoon Canada and Teletoon France in 2001-2002. I created, wrote and directed. I thought the series had a lot of potential, but unfortunately only 39x7 minute episodes were made.
